Civil Engineer by training with more than 8 years of experience in engineering and project management in Canada, I graduated in Computer Science and Civil Engineering at the University of Ottawa, as well as in Project Management at the University. of Quebec.
Wishing to use my experience and talent on the continent in which I was born and raised, I decide to turn my back on the security of a job abroad and return to Africa. The idea of launching Mon Faso Dan Fani was born when I asked myself a question: how do you do when you want to consume African loincloth, but you are not able to browse the African markets or are we not there?
At Mon Faso Dan Fani, which in the Dioula language means My "woven loincloth of the country", we have made it our mission to offer you the most beautiful woven loincloths made in Africa. 100% cotton fabrics passionately designed and carefully handcrafted for a peerless finish, modern patterns and generational durability.
Knowing that finding inspiration for an outfit or browsing the markets takes time, we've made it easy for you to focus on the essentials. We have nearly 400 customizable designs. Our collection is made up among others of Faso Danfani from Burkina, Bogolan from Mali and Senoufo from Côte d'Ivoire. The first boutique was opened in Abidjan, the chic capital of West Africa. Then a second store was opened in Ouagadougou, where it all began.
